Take WRTA Route 26 Through Worcester
WRTA Route 26 travels between Great Brook Valley and the Central Hub at Union Station by way of Lincoln Street. The route serves Lincoln Plaza, Green Hill Park, UMass Memorial Medical Center’s Hahnemann Campus, AdCare Hospital, Lincoln Square, and downtown Worcester.

Shopping Along Lincoln Street
Lincoln Plaza is located at 525 Lincoln Street. Target at Lincoln Plaza carries groceries, household supplies, clothing, and other everyday items. The store also includes a CVS Pharmacy, Target Optical, and a Starbucks café. Michaels is located nearby in the same shopping center for arts, crafts, framing, and seasonal supplies.
WRTA Route 26 serves the Lincoln Plaza area, providing a public transportation option for shopping along the Lincoln Street corridor.
Parks Near Great Brook Valley
Great Brook Valley Playground is located within the Great Brook Valley housing area. The city park includes a softball field and a multipurpose field used for soccer and other activities. The park also borders Poor Farm Brook.
Green Hill Park is located along the Route 26 bus line. The park includes athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, ponds, wooded space, an arboretum, Green Hill Golf Course, and Green Hill Park Farm. The farm is open year-round and is free to visit.
Access to Downtown Worcester and Shrewsbury
Lincoln Street and I-290 provide routes toward downtown Worcester, including Union Station, the WRTA Central Hub, Worcester City Hall, and downtown employment areas. Route 9 runs east toward Shrewsbury and west toward other parts of Worcester.
